How we calculate the estimate
The calculator compares the number of hours spent on manual cleaning in your operation with the number of hours a robot would take. This is an indicative calculation based on simple and transparent assumptions:
- One shift is equivalent to 8 hours’ work, based on 52 weeks a year.
- The robot accounts for 40 per cent of manual cleaning hours (the same figure for staff cost savings as we use on the website).
- The robot effectively cleans 60 % of the time (the rest is spent charging, emptying and moving around); this is used to calculate the coverage in m²/h required for your floor area.
- The savings relate to staff who are freed up; this does not replace the bespoke cost-saving analysis we carry out at your premises.
Frequently asked questions about the calculator
Is this a quote?
No. This is a rough estimate of the savings in terms of hours and staff costs. A personalised savings analysis (ROI) is carried out following the free demonstration at your premises.
How is the recommended robot chosen?
The coverage required for your area, in m²/h, is calculated, and a model from the cleaning range with sufficient coverage is recommended; if none are sufficient, several units of the model with the highest capacity are suggested.
What information do I need?
Area to be cleaned, shifts and days of cleaning, staff assigned per shift and cost per hour per staff member.
Can I watch the demo at my company?
Yes. We carry out a free demonstration at your premises to test the robot in its actual operating environment.
